Happy New Year!
I hope you all had a restful, joyful, and meaningful holiday season. Not too much of what you don’t like and heaping spoonfuls of what you do. Now for the new year. My favorite time of year. Why? Because we are supposed to be introspective during this period. We are supposed to take the time to plan and set goals. I believe our world manifests to what we set our minds on. Goal setting is a way to bend the world to be what we want. It’s not easy, but getting exactly what you want rarely is.
So I challenge you all as I challenge myself: What is one thing you will accomplish this year for each of these 3 categories:
Profession, Family, Personal
Write down your goals in a place you will see all year. Remind, revisit, and refine quarterly. Attempt to not gauge yourself from success or failure, but progress. If your goals are hard, they will take a while to complete.
Aside from goal setting, the New Year is also my favorite time because there is seemingly endless amounts of statistics and information about the previous year. I’ve included a few of my favorites in this newsletter as well as areas I’m focusing on.
Congrats for your 2022 and cheers to your next year!
